UPDATE: The ported APK covered below is now obsolete because Fortnite beta is officially available for all Android devices!

Alongside its Galaxy Note 9 announcement at Unpacked this year, Samsung confirmed that Fortnite would initially launch on Android as a Galaxy-exclusive. But thanks to Android's awesome development scene, this didn't last long at all — you can run Fortnite on any compatible Android device right now.

While this announcement is certainly exciting for anyone on Android looking to compete in the popular shooter, it's not all good news. While you can absolutely attempt the steps below to get Fortnite on your Android device, there's an off chance your Epic account could get banned if you use the method outlined below. So be careful and use a burner account, but I'll explain it all in detail below.

Disclaimers & Requirements
This guide uses an unofficial version of the game that's been ported to bypass device restrictions — that's where the issue with a potential ban lies. So before you get started, you should check to see if your phone is officially supported by the Fortnite beta released by Epic games:

If your phone didn't make the list of compatible devices, there's a way to trick Fortnite into thinking your phone is actually a Galaxy S9.

Thanks to Kieron Quinn, you can download an APK for Fornite right now on almost any Android device you may have. The only requirement is that your phone be ARM64, aka 64-bit. This has been the standard for some time now, so if your phone is a high-end Android released in the past three years, you should be good to go.


But before you begin, let's talk about the potential for getting banned from Fortnite's servers. Because this is a modified APK, the signature doesn't match the official APK from Epic. If this modded version becomes popular, Epic will likely catch on and start looking for that modified signature. If so, there's a chance they could ban accounts that use this version, so proceed at your own risk. We recommend using an alternate account if you play this version.

Step 1
Download the Modded APK
You can find the latest APK from this thread on XDA. Always look for the first link underneath "Download," as the APK is frequently updated to bypass Epic Games' takedowns.

When you click the APK link, you'll have the option to open the APK in Mega or in your browser. While you can open in Mega, you can easily open the link in your browser hassle-free. Once the APK has been downloaded via your browser, you can tap "DOWNLOAD" at the bottom of the screen to download the file directly to your device. Finally, tap "OPEN" when prompted.

Install the APK
Next, you'll need to install the APK. Tap "Install" at the bottom of the page to begin the process. Once the progress completes, simply tap "Open" to open Fortnite.

Play Fortnite
Now all that's left to do is enjoy some (unlicensed) Fortnite action.

It happens to the best of us. At some point, each blogger faces the same issue. It’s the bane of our existence. We’ve set up our blog, crafted our message, and now we ask: How do we get more traffic?

The blog traffic jam. We’ve all experienced it at some point. That sudden halt of visitors to your site that has you wondering, “What did I do wrong?” It may happen at the beginning, middle, or end of a blog’s life, but it’s inevitable.

If you’re just getting started or have been blogging for a while, you’ve faced this nemesis. And you’ve asked yourself,

How do I get out of this? How do I get more traffic to my site?

To help answer that question, I came up with a simple list. But before that, let’s talk about motives…

Why do you want more traffic?

So, you have a blog, but want more traffic?

First, check your motives: Is it help people, be a resource, and make a difference? Or to make you famous?

If the latter, quit blogging now. If you’re blogging for self-serving reasons, then that may be the real inhibitor to your blog’s growth. Because here’s the truth:

People want you to talk about them, not you.

It’s okay to write about personal experiences and share what you’ve learned from a first-hand perspective, but be careful of making yourself into some kind of blog rock star. Instead, aim to be a resource and help to others.

The irony is that if you do that, you’ll end up becoming a star.

So if you want more traffic to your blog, don’t focus on the traffic. Focus on the people.

1. Use Descriptive and Keyword Rich Titles

This is where your keyword research will come into play. A descriptive and interesting title will do two things: provide keywords for the algorithm to sort for relevancy purposes and attract users and inform them about what the video is about. To conduct keyword research, you can use typical SEO methods like using keyword planner or other keyword research tools.

To check keyword popularity on YouTube, go to keyword planner and select YouTube search on the far right. Optimizing your video content for the right keywords will help gain organic views by informing users and the search engine just what your video is about.

2. Have Quality and Keyword Rich Descriptions

The video description is where you can better inform the search engines and users just what exactly your video is about. This will help increase the click-through-rate and thus the views, as users will know what to expect in your video.

Try to both stand-out and remain generic; you should capture interest while still trying to rank for short-tail keywords. Entice users above the fold with your descriptions and optimize them correctly for the YouTube search engine as you would with a normal SEO meta description.

3. Use Tags

Use high-quality images that feature readable and engaging fonts and facial-closeups, if they’re featured in your video.

Have your thumbnail be a visual correspondent to your title and description to boost your video views.

5. Create Transcripts of Your Videos

Captions or transcripts of your videos have been heavily debated as to their ability to increase your YouTube ranking. However, closed captions can help get more YouTube views as they cater to international audiences and the disabled.

Ranking well for YouTube’s organic results can increase your views immensely and provide a sustainable method of viewership traffic. Buying YouTube views may provide a quick boost in views, but it’s not a good long-term solution as behavioral analytics are more meaningful ranking factors in the eyes of YouTube’s algorithms.

Thus, the content presented at the end of a watched video will be similar to the content that was just viewed.

By optimizing your video to be relevant to other popular videos, you’ll increase the chances of driving users to view your YouTube channel and video, fast.

You can target similar keywords and descriptions and create video content that covers the same topic with a more engaging tone or with more information presented in a more accessible way.

10. Use Cards

These YouTube optimization features enable you to promote your other content within your video. You can create cards that can be used to:

• Promote other video content
• Get more channel subscribers
• Donate to a non-profit
• Send traffic to your website
• Encourage users to participate in a poll

In regard to increasing your video views, you should use these cards to encourage users to visit your lesser watched content and subscribe to your channel. Use your behavioral analytics to see at which points users stop watching your video and implement the card beforehand to ensure it gets seen by more viewers.

11. Create End Screens

To add end-screens, go to your Video Manager, click edit on the video you want to add to, and click End Screens & Annotations. From there you’ll be able to add the additional features.

Like internal linking on websites, your marquee videos can be a great way to push traffic and views to your lesser-known videos and channel in general.

13. Use Autoplay for your Embedded Videos

Autoplay will automatically begin playing a video when it’s been embedded. You should be careful when you do this, as auto-played videos may annoy some users. If the video content is explanatory, then it might be a good idea to use it as users can immediately jump into the video that’s explaining how to do something.

To enable autoplay for embedded content, simply add this code to the end of URL in the iframe.
